So semester one is over and with Semester two The Union, Winchester kicks off with Refreshers week.

This is a great opportunity to get into your union and see what it has to offer.

Refreshers week kicked off last night with a Detention, which will continue to be a bi-weekly event throughout term, alternating with We <3 Mondays.

Today we are offering free tea and coffee 11am-3pm in the union building.

Thursday will be the Refreshers’ Fayre, with stalls from;

• ShakeAway (who will be giving out free samples)
• Creative Crafts
• Winchester Student Groups (including the Life Drawing, Writers Society, The Games Consortium and Food and Drink)
• The Wessex Scene
• The Executive Committee
• The Chlamydia Screening Programme
• The Advice Centre
• Erasmus Park JCR

And finally we will be kicking off Thursday night with ‘An Evening of Vintage’ which promises to be an exciting night.
