SUSU’s Guide to Open Days

In General

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Visiting the University of Southampton today or tomorrow for an Open Day? Take a look at our quick guide on how to get the most out of your visit.

There’s more to your time at university than just your course and your accommodation.

It’s important to find out all about the courses you’re interested in, but what are you going to do with your time when you’re not studying? Come and speak to the team from the students’ union to find out.

Visit us in The Concourse in Building 42 to find out about:

Sport and the Athletic Union. We’ve got 78 clubs, from rugby to skydiving, so that you can carry on playing a sport you love or try something completely new.
Societies. There are around 180 societies you could get involved in, so there’s bound to be something that interests you. If not, the students’ union can help you set up your own.
Media. Love radio, TV or journalism? We have our own student-run radio station, online TV channel and two magazines!

You can also learn more about what SUSU is and what it can do for you in talks presented by the officers who run the students’ union.

They’ll be held at the following times on both Open Days:

Your Student Life Talks in The Cube in Building 42

10:00 – 10:30
12:00 – 12:30
13:00 – 13:30
15:00 – 15:30

We look forward to meeting you, and hope that you come and say #hellosusu during your visit!
