What’s happening at SUSU this week
The weeks are flying by and it’s almost December – which means we’re starting to get festive! Make sure you check out our calendar online for details of everything going on this week – including a couple of Christmassy events!
Here are some of our highlights for the week ahead:
Monday
Live Music Mondays in The Bridge, with music from 8pm and FREE entry.
This week we’ve got a treat for you as The Boy Royals, who are currently touring with UK rock favourites Feeder, head to The Bridge to perform a live set.
Tuesday
It’s time for more laughs at Comedy Central in The Bridge, with doors open at 7pm and the show starting at 7.45pm.
We’re bringing you more great stand-up from Andrew Ryan (MC), James Acaster, Paul Jones and our headliner Neil Delamere.

Wednesday
Christmas festivities begin on Highfield campus, as the University switch on the Christmas lights!
Come along from 5.15pm for FREE mince pies and mulled wine and enjoy browsing our Christmas market. There will also be fantastic live music in The Bridge with Tom Crouch between 5pm and 7pm, and in The Stag’s with Louise Victoria Quartet between 7.30pm and 9pm.

Thursday
Karaoke in The Stag’s, from 9pm with FREE entry and loads of great songs to choose from.
Culture Club in The Bridge, from 7pm and with FREE entry.
Friday
Start off your Friday night in The Stag’s, with great value drinks, tasty pizzas and live music from 7pm courtesy of our very own LiveSoc.
No Frills Friday bringing you the very best value night out in Southampton on a Friday in The Cube from 10pm.
This week features DJ Grammafone, the 70 year old DJ! It’s FREE entry before 11pm and £2 tickets are available from www.susu.org/boxoffice.
Saturday
Christmas Cabaret in The Bridge at 7pm.
Enjoy a Christmas Carvery, a glass of bubbly, an amazing cabaret show featuring Mat Ricardo and Helen Arny, as well as an after party – all for just £9.99!

Sunday
Sunday Carvery in The Bridge from 12pm.
