Women’s Workshop This Week
Calling all women!
This Wednesday we’re running a FREE Women’s Workshop in The Café (Building 42, Highfield campus) between 3pm and 5pm.
With 54% of students at the University of Southampton female, it’s disappointing that this is not reflected in the elected officers at SUSU and that women at the University of Southampton are therefore under represented in the students’ union.
This workshop aims to talk about key tools like confidence, assertiveness and public speaking, while also inspiring the next generation of excellent females of SUSU. We’ve got guest speakers and practical hands-on sessions, so whether you’re considering running to be an officer or if you just want to develop some more skills, come along!
Contributors will include: Jaki Booth (SUSU’s General Manager), Chloe Green (Vice President Welfare and Communities) and Tessa Harrison (University of Southampton Registrar).
