Voting is now open in the 2013 Elections – which means that YOU have the chance to help decide how SUSU is run for the next year.
For the first time ever we’re electing the next team of Sabbatical Officers, Student Leaders, Trustees and Union Councillors at the same time – and you can vote for positions in the areas of SUSU that you care about. We’re very excited to have added a University of Southampton student and member of ComedySoc to our line-up for this coming Tuesday’s Comedy Central in The Bridge.
Comedy Central is a fortnightly live stand-up event organised in collaboration with the TV channel of the same name, where some of the biggest names on the UK comedy circuit perform.
Xanthippe Waldron, who is a student and an active member of ComedySoc as joined an already exciting line-up that includes US comic Dave Fulton, Romesh Ranganathan and compere for the evening Diane Spencer.

This week SUSUtv have been filming candidate debates for all of the Sabbatical Officer positions, which will culminate on Friday 22 February with the LIVE Presidential Debate at 6pm in The Bridge.
The event will see the seven Presidential candidates debating and discussing their manifestos and taking your questions. Come along to watch the debate live, get answers to your questions – a great way to inform your decision and make your choice.
All full members of SUSU are welcome to attend and get involved.

After last week’s big announcement about the date and venue for Graduation Ball 2013, we’re very pleased to say that tickets are NOW ON SALE.
Graduating students can buy their tickets from www.susu.org/boxoffice or in person from The Box Office at Reception (Building 42). Plus, you can buy up to four tickets so that you can bring guests along to celebrate with you.
We’re also happy to reveal that for the third year running we have frozen the Graduation Ball ticket price at £49, and there will be no transaction charges or booking fees applied.

We are very pleased to congratulate Natasha Unwin, a University of Southampton student and co-ordinator of the Southampton Hub society, on being one of five students nationally to be shortlisted for the Student Volunteering Award.
