A new committee is coming to help improve the welfare of SUSU students.  The Wellbeing Committee will look at a variety of issues affecting students, including mental health, sexual health, physical health and financial health.  To tackle these issues the committee are currently looking to recruit the following roles:

1) Mental Health Co-ordinator

2) Sexual Health Co-ordinator

3) Healthy Living Co-ordinator

4) Financial Health Co-ordinator

5) Substances Co-ordinator

6) 2x Co-ordinators without portfolio

Talking about the new committee Wellbeing Officer, Josh Cox said, “SUSU is committed to improving the wellbeing of students at our university and the Wellbeing committee is one of the steps we can take to improve the welfare provisions that we provide. With myself heading up the committee and a co-ordinator taking on a different section we will be able to cover a wider range of issues that face our students and make their lives easier. I encourage anyone who has an interest in welfare and student life to get involved with this committee to help make some real positive change”.

The committee will be set up next Semester, and students can express an interest in running for a position by emailing wellbeing@susu.org.
