With news that Oli Coles won’t be taking up the position of VP Communities for the 2014-15 academic year a By-Election is being run to vote in a suitable replacement. The role itself will be focussing in on representing everyone from the JCRs to international students as well as supporting postgraduates, mature students and student parents. So it is very important that anyone from these groups have a read through of the candidates and their manifestos, ready to make an informed choice when the voting goes live on Wednesday 11 June at 12pm.

Voting takes place online, so if you’ve left Southampton for the summer you can still make your voice heard and cast your vote. Head to www.susu.org/vote from midday on Wednesday to have your say! Voting will close on Friday 13 June at 5pm with the results being announced in the Bridge at 6pm.
