You may have noticed we have a selection of great trophies on display in the Concourse – but how much do you know about the people who have won them?

Here we interview a different winner to find out more about their team, why you might want to join them and how they got their prize.

What are your key achievements?

This season our key achievements were: Attending the ETBF European Winner’s Cup (champions league of tchoukball), winning Tchoukball UK South East Regional Club Championships (SE RCC), winning our Varsity fixture, coming 3rd in the Tchoukball UK National Club Championships (NCC) and coming 2nd in the Tchoukball UK National University Championships (NUC)

 

What trophies are on display?

Winners SE RCC, Runners Up NUC, 3rd place NCC Division 1, 3rd place NCC finals.

 

How do you prepare for competitions?

We prepare for each multi-match competition day by working with our S&C coach on match day fitness as well as implementing key tactics necessary depending on the teams we are facing that particular week.

 

What has been your biggest challenge?

Our biggest challenge has been to take novice tchoukball players and prepare them quickly for top level national competitions.

 

How did it feel when you won?

It was a great feeling, especially as we have now won this competition for the past two seasons.

 

What would you say to anyone considering joining?

Go for it! We’re a small focused group of easy going individuals, with a wide range of experience (novice to Team UK internationals).
