SUSU to hold two Open Days this week

In General

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Later this week (Friday 4 and Saturday 5 July), the University of Southampton will be holding Open Days to give prospective students the chance to visit the campus and find out more about what the University and SUSU can offer.

SUSU will be open and thriving during these two days, as many student groups have been offered the chance to appear on campus during the day in order to promote their society – a good chance to get their oar in and draw in potential new Freshers before the madness of The Bunfight kicks off in September.

All SUSU outlets will be open during normal holiday hours for the two days, so prospective new students will have the chance to visit popular student venues like The Bridge and really get a taste of the SUSU atmosphere before they decide whether Southampton is the right place for them.

Our friendly Marketing crew will be around campus, offering visitors the chance to take an interactive ‘What kind of student are you?’ quiz, which will provide results to guide new students toward Societies and Groups that might appeal to them, should they join the Union in September. Members of our Comms crew will also be making an appearance, and providing live Social Media updates during the two days – make sure you don’t miss out by following us on Twitter @YourSUSU, and on Instagram @SUSUsnaps.
