Freshers’ Facebook warning
Over the last few months we’ve been busy working hard on project Freshers’. And by now the eagle eyed of you would have seen our exciting new branding pop up on official Facebook page, Twitter account and Freshers’ Facebook Group.
However, as we get set to release lots more exciting announcements and launch our official Freshers’ website, Facebook page and much more we thought we’d better release this message warning you about the numerous fakes there are out there!
This is because in recent weeks, numerous Facebook pages, accounts and groups claiming to be official sources of information for Freshers’ Week 2014 for students at the University of Southampton have emerged, so we want to confirm that SUSU’s only official 2014 Freshers’ Facebook group can be accessed by clicking here.
This is where you’ll find all the goings on for your introduction to life as a Southampton Student and it’s also a great place for you to ask questions, make friends and figure out the best way to have a great time!
Groups, accounts and pages related to Freshers’ Week 2014 in Southampton are in no way affiliated to the Students’ Union or the University of Southampton. Below is a list of just some of the Facebook pages which we have found which we can confirm are NOT linked to SUSU:
