BEES Ready to go into Businesses
The Business Ethics and Environmental Students programme (BEES) are entering the next stage of development as they prepare to go into two new businesses.
BEES is a joint project between us and the University of Southampton, aiming to encourage sustainability by providing free sustainability auditing services to local organisations, carried out by student volunteers, then helping to implement improvements.
The official launch took place on 18 March this year, with a great turnout from local businesses and organisations.
Last February saw the programme audit the processes of both the University of Southampton and SUSU. Now the programme is getting ready to go into Enims and National Institute Health Research Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC).
BEES will provide the organisations with free advice on their ethical and environmental practices and help in implementing the best solutions for the company.
For more information on what BEES has done for local businesses and organisations, you can visit the BEES website at bees.susu.org and if you’re representing an organisation and want to join BEES to benefit from free audits on your organisation’s ethical and environmental practices, you can get in touch by emailing bees@susu.org. #Sotonbess
