Cash for Communications
With the influx of new students and looming reading lists just around the corner, it’s that time of year again: Freshers’ season is almost upon us. For new and returning students, there’ll be a bombardment of information from the University and from SUSU – but luckily ex-President (now Student Engagement Officer) David Gilani has put together a survey asking YOU how you’d most like to receive updates and information.
The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and has loads of opportunity to get your opinions out. Would you rather get your exam timetable by text or email? Want social media updates on the latest job opportunities around campus? How about Snapchats from SUSU with details about the next big event? These are all options on the survey – all you need to do is take the time to have your say, and help the University’s Communications move forward in a way that’s most beneficial to you.
On top of all this, two participants will be lucky enough to bag £50 in Amazon vouchers – and we all know a little extra cash in your pocket at the beginning of term never goes amiss. You will also get a chance to opt in on the survey for more info about taking part in focus groups and interviews, all with the aim of improving communications to students – and these will be ‘incentivised’, promises Mr Gilani.
Just click here to take the survey: https://universityofsouthampton.researchfeedback.net/wh/siam/surveylanding/interviewer.asp
Submissions will close on Thursday 28 August, so don’t hang about!
