SUSU’s unique student counselling service, Peer Support are looking for more student volunteers.
Since setting up a year ago, Peer Support has gone from strength to strength and are now ready to train 12 more volunteers with all the necessary skills to support and listen to their peers.
Peer Support is a confidential listening service delivered by students for students. It provides you with a platform to voice absolutely any problems you might be facing – no matter how big or small. All SUSU peer supporters have received extensive training and will listen to you without judging.

Steffan James, a South London-based singer songwriter, found his sound in the last few years travelling the USA. Heavily influenced by the blues and acoustic world of California he has toured the world as a guitarist, singer and songwriter for many an act. In late 2012 he started work on his own solo project.

University of Southampton’s student yachting team have been crowned World Champions by winning the 34th Student Yachting World Cup.
This is the first time that the University has ever won the World Cup.
They beat 11 other teams from the around the world across six days of racing at La Rochelle, France producing a fantastic performance by winning nine of the 16 races.
