Don’t Worry, Be Happy! (Stress Management) – 18 November from midday to 2pm

This session is for participants who feel they’d like to learn more about what stress is and how it manifests itself, and how to manage it. You’ll be working in groups to define stress and how it can occur, then take some time for self reflection to analyse your own stress levels and suggest methods of dealing with stress in the future.

Definitely Maybe (Decision Making) – 19 November from 1pm to 2:30pm

The aim of the session is to understand what problem solving is, how to approach a decision and think outside the box to reach a decision. You’ll be working on teams and individually to improve your problem-solving and decision-making skills by thinking creatively and identifying individual problem-solving types.

Make Your Contacts Count (LinkedIn) – 25 November from 1pm to 4pm

This session has been specially developed with Career Destinations to help you get the most out of social media sites such as LinkedIn. You will be learning the importance of having a strong and professional online persona in relation to employability and learning to apply social media tools and techniques to your job hunting strategy.

I Have a Dream (Public Speaking) – 26 November from 1pm to 4:30pm

This session aims to enable attendees to feel confident in using their interpersonal skills to give verbal presentations.
