Fancy bagging yourself a cool £1,000? The Student Barometer survey takes just minutes to fill out, and gives you the chance to win a whopping cash prize which could be the perfect amount to treat yourself to a holiday or put towards that car you keep meaning to save up for. What have you got to lose?!

What is it?

The Student Barometer is a questionnaire which lets the University know what you think about everything on offer, from your course to the campuses, or teaching to the technology on offer. The results are anonymous and collected by a third-party company so you can be as vocal as you want, about what you like and dislike, about University of Southampton.

Why should I do it?

It’s vital you take the time to fill out the survey because not only could you pocket a whole heap of cash, direct action will be taken as an outcome of exactly what the student body says. In previous years, Student Barometer results have led to an increase in quiet study spaces in Hartley Library, better Wi-Fi coverage on campus, and improvements to the MySouthampton app. If there’s something which you think could be made better, this is your time to speak up so it can be sorted for future years.

How do I take part?

A unique URL to complete the survey will have been sent to your University of Southampton email account from independent research company i-graduate, at some point during November. Have a quick look through your inbox for the email and click the enclosed hyperlink – the closing date is Friday 5th December.

Best of luck!
