More than just a number
“We become what we behold. We shape our tools, and thereafter our tools shape us.”
― Marshall McLuhan
As the main SUSU Facebook Page determinately marches towards it’s 20,000th Like you would be forgiven for thinking that this arbitrary number is of little consequence to the ‘Grand Scheme’ of things; For it is exactly that, just a number. To us though it is so much more, each number has a story behind it, a personality, hopes & dreams, ups & downs, triumphs & defeats. Nothing shows this in better light than the current #SUSUHumans project our Comms Crew™ have been working on where an individual makes the brave choice to share something about themselves with the wider populace. The response so far has been fantastic with many supportive comments, helpful suggestions and of course the ever present witty banter. However, we’re keen to ensure that the elevation of the individual doesn’t impact the messages and updates we produce that are relevant to our wider audience.
This is where our sibling pages come into play, catering to specific audiences these pages allow us to deliver dedicated information about some of your favourite places and activities SUSU helps provide. Have a look at some of the highlights from each page below and we hope you’ll join us in celebrating not only the milestone of 20,000 page Likes but also the individuals (including yourselves) that have helped us reach this point!
