The SUSU Housing Fayre 2015: Putting a Roof Over Your Head
They say good things come to those who wait, and it couldn’t be more true when it comes to finding your student home in Southampton. If you’ve managed to hold off and resist temptation from pesky lettings agents – your time has finally come. We’re rewarding you with the SUSU Housing Fayre, which is returning to the concourse at the start of the new semester, after a hugely popular event in 2014.
The Housing Fayre is even bigger and better this year, following the launch of our own lettings agency, SUSU Lettings, whose office is right on the concourse, next to our reception. We’ll be offering sessions on trialing your potential housemates as well as providing advice on the essentials of knowing your rights when it comes to living outside of a Halls community.
The event has been organized by your VP Welfare, Beckie Thomas, who said, “Everyone should come along to the SUSU Housing Fayre on 26th January to find out some essential facts that will help you to get the most out of your housing experience next year; from getting along with housemates, to organising bills, to deposits and inventories. There will even be a chance to win a few prizes too!”
You can drop into the Fayre all day from 10am until 3pm on the Concourse in Building 42 on Monday 26th January – don’t miss out. Our Facebook event is here and we’ll be releasing more information closer to the event, so join and keep an eye out for our posts!
