Stress Less Fest is back!

In General

Reading Time: < 1 minute

…which roughly translates to: “exam season is back!” But no worries, here at SUSU we’ve got a few bits and pieces organised to keep you sane throughout the exam period. Between 12 and 23 January, we’ll be holding our infamous Stress Less Fest on campus. With exam period commencing that very week, this is a timely opportunity to battle stress-levels university-wide.

First things first, you’ve got to stay healthy and eat well during the revision period, so we’ve got a huge stock of bananas that we’ll hand out every day in the entrance of Hartley Library from 12 – 16 January. Yes, you read that right – FREE BANANAS for everyone. Keep your eyes peeled (pun intended) and you should see them being handed out from about 10am. So get yours quick before they run out! You can pick one up on your way into or out of the Library and fuel up for an intensive revision session or refuel after a particularly gruelling exam.

Next, it’s important to give yourself a break every now and then so you don’t get too overwhelmed. If you’ve reached a point in your work where you just want to throw your notes out of the nearest window, you’re probably overdoing it. So give yourself the chance to relax by coming along and watch Friends box sets with your… erm… friends in the Concourse. We’ll be playing six hours worth of Friends everyday (between 10am and 4pm) so pop in and out whenever you fancy and have a laugh!

Wishing you the best of luck in your upcoming exams, and we hope these little perks will help keep you going throughout the busy exam period!
