There are always so many exciting thing going on within SUSU, but sometimes you don’t hear about everything going on. So as part of the #Mysusu iniative we’re putting a spotlight on successes in the communities.

In March the Student Forums launched, which are online discussion boards that were created to foster communication between students at satellite campuses. Additionally, over at Erasmus Park their common room was rennovated with new furniture and layout for the social space, and research into renovations for other common rooms took place!

In June the Post Graduate Research Association was set up. The association aims to ensure that post graduates are represented and have a voice, with the aim to hold a PGR conference later this year.

The Fresher Representative system was restructered in June, which caused 570 people, a record number of applicants, to apply to be a Fresher Rep. Most recently in December the JCR training is being remodelled so that the JCRs are provided with more details and information.
