This week is National Student Money Week, an event taking place up and down the country focussed on helping students to be better with their money. Held in collaboration between the University and SUSU, there will be events on the concourse of SUSU on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week.

As well as baskets of food and other prizes to be won, plus goody bags handed out to attendees, the week will help students through a series of events. Held from 10am-2pm every day, the events include Money Saving Tips and Food Comparisons to test your tastebuds on Tuesday 10th, Accomodation and Utilities Advice along with the Money Saving Tree on Wednesday, and concludes on Thursday with Jelly Bean Borrowing and Valentine Hearts for Tips! The week will offer a real range of student relevant advice and is sure to be well attended – many students find themselves short of cash, and this week will hopefully be of use to them in making their money go further.

NSMW takes place nationally, and the theme of this years week is Relationships and Partnerships. More information can be found here at the NASMA website, who organise the national initiative.
