The Bridge to host International Forum
The Bridge on the University of Southampton’s Highfield campus will host an International Forum Event on Wednesday 18th February at 18:00.
The event will focus on bringing about positive change for International Students at the University and aims to create an open discussion between students and the issues they face academically and personally whilst living and working in Southampton.
Topics of conversation during the evening include safety, security, support and accessibility, with five speakers leading the evening’s discussions.
The University’s International Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark Spearing will be present at the event to converse with students about the issues which need to be tackled, along with VP Communities Anjit Aulakh, the Administrative Team Manager of the International Office Vicki Mead, International Officer Shailesh Agarwal and Hoda Khoja, who is an international student at the University.
As well as the chance to contribute to helpful discussions to improve the lives of international students in Southampton, the first 100 guests will be treated to refreshments courtesy of the Students’ Union.
