SUSU Grad Ball tickets closed!
Tickets have now closed for the biggest annual event in the SUSU calendar, SUSU Grad Ball!
The glitzy celebration will be held at Southampton’s largest nightclub, Oceana, on June 8, where the 2,500 ticket holders will be treated to an eight hour party to beat all parties, featuring a star-studded line-up of performers reflecting the ‘Music Through the Ages’ theme.
Amongst the acts set to grace the stage at the hugely popular event will be 26-year-old star Labrinth, who shot to fame in 2010 with his breakthrough single ‘Let The Sun Shine’ before going on to release further incredible tracks such as ‘Earthquake’, ‘Last Time’, ‘Let It Be’ and his chart-topping collaboration with Emeli Sandé, ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’.
The ‘Katy On A Mission’ hitmaker Katy B will also be performing at the event, and will be sure to whip the dancefloor up into a frenzy as she belts out a set of up-tempo hits from her two studio albums.
Elsewhere at the Grad Ball, SUSU will be taking you back in time with an incredible, if slightly cheesy, performance from 90s Irish pop sensations B*Witched, as well as a DJ set from Swedish producer Basshunter who will be sure to play a flurry of his electronic hits including ‘Now You’re Gone’ and ‘All I Ever Wanted’.
If that wasn’t enough, there will also be a whole host of tribute performances to fit in with the ‘Music Through the Ages’ theme, featuring ABBA Revival, Vicky Jackson as P!NK and Lady Gaga, and Britain’s top Robbie Williams tribute, Paul Reason.
We will also be releasing tonnes of exciting act information on www.susugradball.com in the run up to the big event – so watch this space!
However, if you were one of the unlucky students who didn’t manage to purchase a ticket, do not fret. SUSU has set up a waiting list in case any further tickets become available. To sign up, click this link.
