Summer Elections
So swept up in the general elections you want to run in one yourself? Got a passion for your subject and want to help improve your department? Want to get more involved in SUSU and gain some experience for your CV? Well we’ve got you covered.
The summer election period is fast approaching and there is a whole range of positions you can run for. As well as Academic President and Course Rep positions, there are also campaign committee members (who fight for Equality and Diversity and make sure Ethical and Environmental issues are at the heart of everything SUSU does), Student Leaders (which are senior part-time volunteer roles, and range from Equality and Diversity Officer to Intra-Mural Officer), Union Councilors and Student Trustees.
Nominations are now open for the summer elections, and close on Wednesday 6th May. Voting will then begin on the Friday 8th May and close on the Thursday 14th May.
