Time is running out to nominate
Nominations close tomorrow (Wednesday 6 May) at 12pm for the Summer Elections, which means you still have time to run for one of the fabulous part time positions.
Whatever you’re interested in, there’ll be a role for you. All of them have differing responsibilities but they’re all great ways to get more involved in the union and get experience that looks excellent on your CV.
If you have a passion for your course and want to push for it to be better then there’s Academic President and Course Rep roles. If you have a drive to help fight for Equality and Diversity as well as well as ensuring Ethical and Environmental issues are at the heart of all SUSU does then there’s Campaign Committee Members. If you’re unsure about what you went to get involved in but know you’re interested in the Union there’s Union Councillors (people who sit as voting members of Union Council, a body that meets six times a year and holds SUSU to account!), and of course there’s a host of Student Leader roles you can run for like the Medical Society President, Student Enterprise Officer and Wellbeing Officer.
