FREE Transport to our Culture Cafe
Our Culture Cafe event is less than two weeks away now – and we’ve got an exciting update for students over at the Winchester School of Arts!
Our Creative Industries Zone is always growing and developing – and with the ever-changing national landscape of the creative arts it’s important that we adapt to achieve alongside new changes.
That’s why we’re holding the Culture Cafe on Thursday 4th June – to provide an open event to discuss the arts and culture with like-minded, passionate people. Whatever your interest – whether it’s visual arts, performing arts, written arts or media – it’s up for discussion at the Cafe.
From 3pm, there will be a showcase of some of the Creative Industries’ work within the Union on the Concourse. This will be followed by debate, discussion and networking in Bar 2 from 4pm onwards.
Attendees can enjoy a free afternoon tea while discussing the future of the Arts in Southampton as well as nationally, and what the recent government changes will mean in regards to funding – and how that will affect the development of the Arts.
Students over in Winchester who wish to attend will be provided with transport to and from Highfield for free – just email over to groups@susu.org to register your interest.
You can keep up with all the news for the event on the Facebook page.
