Today marks the end of an era as the Sabbatical Team and Student Leader Team for 2014-2015 come to the end of their terms in office. The team, led by Union President David Mendoza Wolfson, have had an eventful year making positive changes to your students union and will surely be missed as the new team takes office.

The Shift Your Stuff campaign is designed to help you clear out any bits that you no longer need or want and then rehome them with people or charities, such as incoming students, animal shelters or homeless shelters, that can make good use of them when you no longer need them. The first group of pre-sessional students have arrived in Southampton, so make sure you make them feel welcome!
Over the next few weeks you’ll notice our team of pre-sessional helpers dotted about campus in blue Pre-Sessional Helper shirts; but if you see some lost looking pre-sessional students make sure you direct them towards a group of helpers, their final destination or towards the students’ union.

Summer is here, which means that a lot of students have gone home and suddenly Southampton feels very empty.

Southampton students have proven that they have business know how and entrepreneurial spirit last week as the Student Enterprise Awards were held by SETsquared at St Mary’s Stadium
SETsquared is a partnership of the universities of Southampton, Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Surrey, and the awards night brought together the top entrepreneurs of the universities together.
