Freshers’ Q&A Live Tweet #SotonAMA
This week, we held a Twitter Q&A session for all incoming students, so that they could get any any questions they might have, big or small, answered by the team here at the Students’ Union. If you missed it, here is a round-up of the FAQ:
Ready for our #SotonAMA today? Tweet us with the hashtag between 2-3pm; the team will be answering all of your Freshers’ and Uni questions.

Students got involved asking questions about lectures, move in weekend and more and our team of staff (including current students), responded. We let you know about lectures:
@YourSUSU What are the lectures like? Is it just note taking and do you have time to get from one lecture to the other? #SotonAMA — David sherriff (@Davidsherriff6) September 4, 2015
@Davidsherriff6 Lectures are different for different courses, but it’s good to write clear notes-bullet points might be best #SotonAMA (1/2)

@Davidsherriff6 Lectures finish quarter to the hour so you have plenty of time to get to the next one #SotonAMA (2/2) — SUSU (@YourSUSU) September 4, 2015
And about welcome weekend:
@t4ny4_ Welcome weekend, which starts Saturday 19th September #SotonFreshers — SUSU (@YourSUSU) September 4, 2015
There were, of course, some more “unusual” questions…
@YourSUSU what’s the best way to bury a body? #SotonAMA
— Toby Leveson (@TobyLeveson) September 4, 2015
@TobyLeveson you could try http://t.co/Qi5l3W8QiT+

But we like to think we tried our best to answer any questions we got sent.
If you have any more questions you’d like answered that didn’t feature on the FAQ, you can still tweet us on @YourSUSU or reach us on our Official Freshers’ Facebook Page and one of the team will get back to you as soon as they can! No question is too small to ask, so make sure you get in touch if you have any worries niggling away.
