WSA student guest blog: WSA Faith and Belief Fayre happening now!

In General

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Calling all Winchester students! We know that even with easy access to transport that can take you to the Highfield Campus, Winchester School of Art (WSA) can still seem very far away from all the events happening in Southampton.

However there is no need to fret. We have been working hard to make sure that the Union – Winchester has just as many diverse events taking place right on your doorstep at the Winchester School of Art campus. Throughout your Fresher’s there will be exciting events for you to get involved in taking place regularly at WSA, one of those events is The Faith and Belief Fayre.

Right now in the WSA Cafe, you can meet members of our faith and belief student societies. You can visit their stalls, ask them as many questions as you like (the more questions the better!) and find out how you can get involved in a faith group during your time at the University of Southampton.

The Faith and Belief Fayre gives you the chance to talk directly with the students who run the societies and find out when and where the belief groups take place. This means all WSA Freshers’ have the opportunity to sign up to the societies in person, get involved in the events happening and socialise in the company of a varied mix of people with similar interests.

The Fayre is a brilliant event to attend for anyone who wants to explore a new faith, or students who simply just want to meet and mingle with people of a similar mind-set. However don’t forget that the Fayre is open to all people, whether you have an interest in faith and religion or just want an opportunity to chat with fellow students, learn new things, and gain some life experiences. After all, isn’t that what going to university is all about!
