Afternoon Tea for Two at The Bridge!
The Bridge, the restaurant based in the Students’ Union building, is now offering Afternoon Tea! Afternoon Tea is a lovely way to spend an afternoon, relaxing from the stresses and pressures of your degree with a range of gorgeous teas, sumptuous cakes and sandwiches.
Afternoon Tea is considered a British tradition that dates back centuries, and is often taken between 2pm-5pm as a light meal in between lunch and dinner. Traditionally sandwiches would consist of egg and cucumber or ham or salmon, whilst the cakes would often be Victoria sponges or a Battenberg. A treat for anyone and everyone, we are delighted to be able to offer this for the first time in The Bridge!
If you want to have Afternoon Tea, then you will need to book in advance (which can be done on the Box Office).
The next session of Afternoon Tea will be taking place on the 3rd November, with slots beginning at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm, and you will get a range of sandwiches, cakes and teas, all for the excellent price of just £15.00 (to include tea and food for two). This is a great opportunity that you will not want to miss, so make sure you hurry and book your place!
