BBC’s University Challenge 2016 Tryouts: Represent your Uni on the show

Tryouts for the hit TV BBC quiz show University Challenge are taking place in the next few weeks, giving you the opportunity to be part of the team that will represent Southampton.

The current team are trying to better previous results and are currently attempting to make a way through to the final, after losing their first round match they are among the highest scoring losers and so can still progress to win.

If you are watching and think that you can do a better job, then the tryout dates are as follows:

  • Tuesday 27th at 13.00 in the SU
  • Wednesday 28th at 13.00 and 14.00 in the SU
  • Thursday 29th at 17.30 in the SU
  • Friday 30th at 13.00 at SGH

If you cannot make any of these dates at all, then please let the University Challenge team know, and they will try and sort something out for you. You should also join their Facebook group as this is where all the latest updates and information will be posted.

So if you think that you are a bit of a brainbox, full of little bits of useful information, then why not show the world by trying to become part of the team? Good luck!
