This Week at Union Films: The Age of Adaline and Ant-Man
Union Films, the student run cinema operating from within the Union building, have already shown some great films this week including Terminator Genisys and Ted 2, kicking off what is a great week for cinema.
First up tomorrow at 5pm is The Age of Adaline, a romantic fantasy film about a 29 year old lady who, after recovering from a nearly lethal accident, finds out she is no longer growing older. Starring Blake Lively and Harrison Ford, it’s a sweet tale that you shouldn’t miss!
If you’re more into action and superheroes, then afterwards at 8pm is Ant-Man, one of the latest Marvel superhero films. Following a reformed convict as he embraces his inner hero to protect and help his mentor keep the secret of the spectacular Ant-Man suit. If you cannot make this showing, then it is also taking place on Thursday 29th October.
The films cost just £3 for a ticket, which is an absolute bargain, and can be bought online at the Box Office or at Reception. It is good to book tickets in advance, as popular films can sell out, which means you will miss out!
