Halloween round up: Pimp your Pumpkin and Halloween 2015
Last night saw the Students’ Union’s Halloween extravaganza with events being held in Southampton and Winchester to celebrate the festive occasion.
Students decorated pumpkins at the Pimp your Pumpkin event in the WSA Cafe yesterday evening. There was a good variety of designs, including a Minion pumpkin and even a Leprachaun design, plus much more.

The winning design was created by Josh Samways, who won a voucher to the WSA Art shop to spend on materials.
Students were given free Halloween-themed refreshments as they took part in games, including Pin the Nose on the Witch, a spooky twist on the traditional Pin the Tail on the Donkey.
Students were also offered the chance to have their Halloween face-paint done for just £1 by talented students, Sam Gallagher and Mark Jerrom.
See the rest of the photos on The Union – Winchester Facebook page.
Straight after the event, students hurried down to Bedford Place, Southampton for the biggest Halloween party on the South Coast, where they were joined by more than 5,000 other students (or monsters!) to party across 10 different venues including Oceana, Orange Rooms and Switch.
20 different acts delivered performances during the night including headliners Pendulum – El Hornet & MC Verse, My Nu Leng, DJ SKT, Oneman, Woz, Grades and FooR plus much more.
All of the student Halls Committees (formerly known as JCRs), were invited to the event, which saw 6,000 students attend last year.
