Special Considerations and Extension Deadlines
We understand that January can be a stressful month for many of you, so we’re running a series of activities and events to help you stay focused and stress free – and remind you that you’re more than your studies.
We’ll also be making you aware of the University’s Special Considerations and Deadline Extensions Policy, which exists to help students who have experienced circumstances beyond their control and may be struggling to meet upcoming deadlines.
We’ll be with the Advice Centre at different campuses on the following dates with information and support on what to do if you have been affected by unexpected circumstances.
Monday 4th January
SGH, Lecture Theatre Foyer, Blue Area – 11am-2pm
Wednesday 6th January
National Oceanography Centre, Exhibition Area 234/00 (corridor between Level 4 Cafeteria and Library) – 11am-2pm
Thursday 7th January
Avenue Campus, Main Reception, Entrance to Building 65
Friday 8th January
Highfield Campus, SUSU Concourse – 11am-2pm
Monday 11th January
Winchester School of Art, WSA Cafe – 11am-2pm
Further details of the Special Considerations and Deadline Extensions policy and how to apply for an extension can be found here.
Don’t forget: The Advice Centre is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm – feel free to pop up and chat to our friendly staff on Level 3 of Building 40 on Highfield Campus. You can also call 02380 592 085, email advice@susu.org or visit the Advice Centre Facebook page.
