Introducing…the Hundred Watt Club
The Hundred Watt Club are returning to The Bridge on the 27th January during Refreshers’ Week for another night of gorgeous vintage inspired entertainment – served with a zingy contemporary twist!
Our Burlesque and Cabaret nights have become something of a rite of passage, whether you are a Fresher, a final year, or anything in between: you have to attend at least one of these shows.
Daring, naughty and hilarious, the Hundred Watt Club mix American-style burlesque moves with intriguing mime and comedy acts. Check out the teaser below to give you a taste of what is to come…
To make the day extra special, we have organised a day of vintage-themed events to help you enter a world of glamour and spectacle. You can pick up some burlesque moves and gain the confidence to work the stage in a mini-show during our Burlesque and Cabaret workshop, have your hair pinned in an up-do so you look the part and finish the evening with the ultimate performance from the professionals courtesy of the Hundred Watt Club.
Tickets are available now from the SUSU Box Office. Tickets for the evening show are £5; tickets for the evening show and burlesque workshop are £10; and tickets for the evening show and a vintage hair and make-up session earlier in the day courtesy of Pin Curls Styling are £10.
