Housing Week is coming 1st-5th February

Between Monday 1st-Friday 5th February is Housing Week. This is where we offer you FREE events and activities to provide you with the information you need to find your perfect home. Forget dodgy houses, mould or rip-off landlords, we are here to give you free advice and support to help you make the right choice.
Here’s the timetable (events subject to change):

Monday 1st – Free housing advice for students 10am-4pm Red Brick Area and the Concourse

We’ll have a range of free housing advice for students, from our Don’t Rush to Rent campaign and The Advice Centre. An opportunity to meet SUSU Lettings, the Southampton Accreditation Scheme for Student Housing, Unilife student accommodation and more.

Tuesday 2nd – Flat-mating event 2pm Bar 2

Think dating, but with finding flatmates being the focus of your search! There are lots of students who come here to study and struggle to find a group of housemates to move in with. Why not come along and see if you can meet a like-minded student!

Wednesday 3rd – Police day 10am-4pm Red Brick Area and the Concourse

Keep yourself safe in your community with help and support from the police to get you clued up on crime prevention in the home and pick up your copy of the Community Guide.

Thursday 4th – Activities at WSA 10am-4pm WSA Cafe

Take part in the interactive housing survey, join in with our Guess the Pest game and pick up your copy of the Community Guide.

Friday 5th – Read the small print day 10am-4pm

Help and support about housing laws and policies from Endsleigh Insurance, the Students’ Union, including a kitchen fire demontration from Fire and Rescue.
