If you could Change One Thing – about the Students’ Union, University, or even the world – what would it be?
As part of the this year’s Annual General Meeting at the Union, we’ll be asking every student to suggest one thing they’d like to change. It could be big or small – more water fountains in the library, or campaigning for a better system for student loans.
You can submit your idea online when term starts after Easter.

If you’re strapped for cash and you want to maintain a healthy diet, all is not lost! Despite what you may think, it is possible to eat relatively healthily without breaking the bank. Try out our healthy bolognese recipe which will keep your wallet fat and your wait trim! We have aimed to keep the recipe content as flexible as possible for you to adapt to dietary requirements and budget.

2016 has already been a huge year for RAG, having raised an enormous £4754.87 for charity during The Big Give, boosting their annual running total up to a spectacular £60,616.88, compared to £40,967.53 at the same point last year (correct at the last count in February). We think it’s fair to say that there are many students who deserved to be awarded for this amazing contribution to charity!

The last couple of weeks have been a great step forward in rebranding the Union.
We would like to thank you all for filling out the survey and coming to our various rebrand workshops last month. 2,500 (10%) of you got involved to tell us what you thought and a further 150 of you came to the Ted’s Talk events hosted by Holdens’ in January.
