WSA: Who do you want to represent you next year?
We continually work to find new ways to improve our services to you in Winchester, so you can access opportunities that will make your student experience at University. For the first time ever this year, we have created a Winchester Student Committee, which includes roles for elected students to take ownership of the Union and to give you the chance to work with us to make the changes you want to see.
For example, your WSA Campus President, Ryan, organised the Saints and Sinners Ball at Winchester Guildhall to bring you a great night of entertainment with your friends. He has worked tirelessly to lobby University Catering to introduce a loyalty card scheme in the WSA Cafe, which has been so successful that the catering team have agreed to roll it out across the University. Ryan has also been involved in introducing and running WSA-specific Instagram and Snapchat accounts to help you connect with your friends and find out the latest information that is relevant to you. These are just some of the ways that The Union – Winchester has worked with WSA students to make life better for you.
We know that there is much more that we can do for you, but we want your involvement so we are offering you another chance to run for the following positions in the Winchester Student Committee alongside your elected officers for 2016-17:
- WSA Academic Officer
- WSA International Officer
- WSA Social Events Officer
Click here from to nominate yourself from Thursday 10th March at midday until Tuesday 16th March at midday.
You will be able to vote for your favourite candidates between Wednesday 16th March at 4pm and Friday 18th March at 4pm.
