SUSUtv have been highly commended for two NaSTA Awards
Our very own student-led television station, SUSUtv, have been Highly Commended at this year’s NaSTA (National Student Television Association) Awards.
The team were recognised for Best Live coverage for this year’s SUSU Elections Night Live and Engineering student Will Garside was Highly Commended for Best Documentary Award for Radar – Britain’s Shield, about the history of the spitfire and its first flight from Southampton airport. Garside’s documentary has previously Best Direction award at the SUSUtv Student Film Festival.
The NaSTA awards have been considered a prestigious accolade to student media outlets for over forty years. As well as an awarding body, NaSTA prides itself in providing a support network for student media across the year, offering students an opportunity to share news and ask advice to other Unions.
