Our Pre-sessional programme of events is back and what better way to welcome our summer students, than to open up our cinema for four screenings of some of the latest blockbuster films.

Ant-Man

A con artist named Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) gets a shot at redemption when his mentor (Michael Douglas) asks him to protect a superpowered suit. Donning the stunning technology, which shrinks him down to minuscule size, he fights off villains seeking to steal the invention, and organizes a heist that could save the world. Peyton Reed directs this high-octane superhero flick (Source: Fandango).

Zootropolis

In the mammal city of Zootropolis, rabbit rookie cop Judy Hopps (Goodwin) is forced to team up with fox Nick Wilde (Bateman) when civilised animals start turning savage (Source: Empire).

The Good Dinosaur

In a world where dinosaurs and humans live side-by-side, an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend (Source: IMBD).

The Martian

After a massive storm forces his crew to leave the planet, an astronaut, Mark Watney (played by Matt Damon), is marooned on Mars, and presumed dead. Figuring that it would be at least four years until someone can rescue him, he sets out, through often ingenious means, to survive. (Source: IMBD).
