Are you an experienced Financial Director?
We’re looking to hire an External Trustee (Finance) to help us shape the future of our Union.
You’ll be working alongside 3 other External Trustees and 12 Student Trustees. Your role will be to provide support and specialist skills to ensure our Union can achieve its ambitious objective to be one of the top ranked Unions in the country within the next four years.
The Role
The appointment is for a period of 3 years with an option to reappoint for a further 3 years.
The Candidate
We are seeking an individual to provide long term planning, guidance and board level oversight to our executive finance and management team. The team includes our Deputy Director of Operations, Finance Manager and five Finance Officers.

We are looking to increase our cash reserves over a number of years, with a view to ensuring that financing our ambitious goals is not an issue in the future. This requires some high level financial input and we are keen to ensure that our Trustee Board is best equipped to deal with whatever challenges may arise.”
