Nuffield Theatre: Be in a Professional Production!
Fancy yourself as a bit of an actor, dancer or musician? Want the chance to work with world-class theatre professionals?
The Nuffield Theatre are giving you the opportunity to appear in a professional production of John Steinbeck’s epic play The Grapes of Wrath, directed by the Nuffield’s Associate Director Abbey Wright.
Auditions are open to all Southampton residents on Tuesday 13 December. You don’t need any previous theatre or drama skills at all, just enthusiasm and a willingness to turn up regularly to rehearsals and be part of the team.
The play deals with migration, the poverty gap, and our need for community – and what better way to get to know our local community then to star alongside them in the ensemble?! The production will have a contemporary twist and there will be a live band playing throughout.
The Nuffield are looking to recruit a 50 strong community ensemble that will rehearse once a week from January and perform each night from 6 – 25 March 2017.
If you are tempted, don’t think twice. It will be an extremely welcoming, inclusive, friendly team. Put your name down for the open audition by emailing Tracey Cruickshank, Connect Manager at tracey.cruickshank@nstheatres.co.uk
