Enterprise Fund Shortlist Announced

Thank you to everyone who submitted their projects to our Enterprise Fund. The standard was so high that the shortlisting process was really tough, but we are delighted to announce the following submissions on the final shortlist – we look forward to listening to your pitches on Tuesday:
The Charge Project: The Charge Project, is a solar energy distribution service that will operate in the ultra-poor river islands of Bangladesh. The Charge Project will comprise of a boat network with solar panel arrays mounted to the roof, which will be used to charge battery boxes.
 
CareConnect: Caregiving will be the UK’s leading online platform to help families find trusted, quality and affordable care, as a one-stop caregiver sourcing platform. Caregiving is an umbrella term which may encompass any form of health related personalised attention.
 
FuseMind: FuseMind is a new kind of academic search platform challenging all current dogmas.
 
SanEco: The SanEco team have used their entrepreneurial skills to design a novel, non-electric refrigeration system which can give back the 40% wasted crop to farmers.
 
EthiCo: ‘EthiCo’, is offering consumers an affordable and carefully selected ‘essentials pack’ for living sustainably on campus. This product comprises a reusable coffee cup, reusable lunch box with cutlery, and reusable water bottle, all packaged in a reusable cotton bag.
