Spring Elections: Free hot chocolate, candy floss, popcorn and pizza for voters
It’s the third day of our Spring Elections and what a week it has been so far! We’ve heard from the candidates as they spoke to SUSUtv about their manifestos on the Concourse at our Meet the Candidates events, we’ve toured the University campuses with our crew armed with iPads getting votes and we’ve even enjoyed some pancakes as we welcomed a company onto the Redbrick to serve up some of our favourite seasonal tasty treats yesterday.
But if you’re already spent from lent and you’re looking for your next indulgent snack to get you through a day in the library, over the next few days, we’re giving away the following freebies on the Redbrick from 11:00:
- Free hot chocolate – TODAY from 11:00*
- Free popcorn – TOMORROW 11:00-15:00*
- Free candy floss – TOMORROW at WSA 11:00-14:00*
- Free Domino’s pizza – FRIDAY from 11:00*
To claim your free snacks, all you have to do is cast your vote at www.unionsouthampton.org/vote and show us your email confirmation to prove you have voted. That means, if you have already voted, you can still enjoy the food!
If you’ve not voted because you’re not sure who to vote for, you can make an informed choice by reading the candidate manifestos at www.unionsouthampton.org/elections.
Find out how we’re doing with voter turnout by having a snoop at the current voting statistics on our website.
