Nominations are open for the National Societies Awards

The National Societies Awards are coming to the Crowne Plaza, Nottingham on Friday 19 May.
The ceremony, founded last year at Bristol UWE, gives us a chance to celebrate the very best student societies in the UK.
If you think your student group is deserving of an award, you can nominate them before 12:00 on Friday 21 April here.
The categories include:
- Best Society
- Best Local Community Contribution
- Best Society Event
- Best Cultural and Faith Society
- Best Arts and Performance Society
- Best Media Society
- Best Hobby and Interest Society
- Best Academic and Careers Society
- Best Volunteering and Charity Society
- Best Campaigning Society
- Most Improved Society
- Best New Society
- Welfare and Inclusivity Award
- Individual Award for Outstanding Contribution
As well as enjoying recognition for all your hard work, the awards include a chance to network with other societies and gain information, tips and ideas in an informal environment.
