AGM: It’s time to submit your ideas

In General

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is fast approaching on Wednesday 17 May and we are looking for your ideas to discuss on the day.

It can be about absolutely anything you would like to change about our Union – from practical to plain wacky, we’ve heard it all and we’ve made  a number of changes as a result. For example, we made Susu the cat Honorary President as a result of a suggestion from a student at AGM and we’ve included more vegan options in our Union outlets too.

You can submit a suggestion for discussion online before Monday 08 May at www.unionsouthampton.org/agm

What happens next?

Voting

Once we have gathered all your suggestions, we will offer you the chance to vote on the ideas you would like to see happen. Voting will take place between Wednesday 10 May – Monday 15 May at www.unionsouthampton.org/agm – we will announce the list of ideas on the 15 May.

AGM

AGM is all about discussing the implementation of the top ranked ideas. Come and join us on Wednesday 17 May at 13:00 on the Union Redbrick, Highfield Campus to decide the next steps for each idea!
