The core charities which will be supported by RAG during the 2018/19 academic year have been chosen, following a student vote. They are…

Yellow Door

By offering a variety of specialist therapeutic, supportive and preventative services around the issues of domestic and sexual abuse, Yellow Door work with victims and the local Southampton community to help victims overcome the negative impacts of trauma, violence and abuse.

Trinity Winchester

Trinity Winchester provide practical and emotional support to those who are experiencing the effects of homelessness or vulnerability. They also run a dedicated Women’s Service, supporting women to make positive changes to their lives and, in many cases, break free from the damaging cycle of domestic abuse.

Antony Nolan

Every day, Antony Nolan match incredible individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who desperately need lifesaving transplants.

Help Refugees

Help Refugees funds more than 80 grassroots organisations across Europe and the Middle East which each provide life saving/changing support to refugees in often horrific conditions.  They work with extraordinarily effective small groups and organisations that have sprung up in response to the humanitarian crisis, and respond where the need is greatest, whether that means providing food, clothing, shelter, funding or more.
