A local student start-up company What&Where recently won funding from the Union’s Enterprise Fund, enabling them to begin connecting students with local businesses and services.
During his time at the University of Southampton, Paul Musa founded the online search platform What&Where, with help from the Union’s Enterprise Fund. Over 1300 Pre-sessional and Postgraduate students supported Southampton “Saints” FC in their recent Premier League match against Burnley FC on 13 August 2018, in a trip arranged by the Union.
Pre-sessional students are international students who are undertaking English language courses ahead of their degree to prepare them for studying in the UK. The match was a great chance to meet new friends and practise English Language skills whilst showing support for their new home team!

Through student fundraising, Southampton RAG have donated a record breaking £229,354.21 throughout the 2017-18 academic year! This is a fantastic achievement and the total has benefited over 35 charities including CLEAR, Mind and AIDS Orphan.
