SUSUtv, the Union’s student-run TV station has been shortlisted for Best Media Society in the National Societies Awards.

The National Societies Awards celebrate the achievements of student societies at universities across the country.This year there were almost 800 nominations of which SUSUtv have now been shortlisted.

“This year has been the year of collaboration for SUSUtv” says Ben McQuigg, Station Manager. “We worked with so many societies, groups, external companies as well as other Student TV stations from around the country.”

This is the third year running SUSUtv have been shortlisted for the award having previously been awarded runner up. “To be shortlisted again for Best Media Society makes me extremely proud of my committee and all our members. We continue to strive pushing the boundaries in the content we create and hope this continues for many years to come”

This year’s award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 30 April in Manchester.
