The Cafe to relaunch as ‘The Plant Pot’ following student vote

After student consultation, The Cafe will re-open as ‘The Plant Pot’, a vegan and vegetarian cafe with a zero-waste shop, in the new academic year. 

Work is currently underway to transform the current space ready for it’s re-opening in September, where it will serve a brand new, all vegan and vegetarian menu.

After shortlisting from over 100 name suggestions from students and two rounds of voting, The Plant Pot was announced as the new name. The new space will also sell healthy snacks, drinks and will feature re-fillable stations for bulk foods such as, pasta, rice, pulses and grains.
