Every year we run three elections and in our Autumn Elections we elect over 400 student volunteers. Over 20 roles are open for nomination, including:
Postgraduate Taught Reps

Art School President
Biological Sciences School President

Engineering School President
Physics and Astronomy School President
Allied Health Professionals Department President
Economics Department President
Gerontology Department President

Medicine Postgraduate Research Representative
Social Sciences Postgraduate Research Representative
Standing as a candidate provides you with experience and employability skills through your campaigning before you have even taken on the role. Should you win then the work you do through the year will improve student life for thousands of students across all our campuses.
Even if you aren’t running for a role, by voting you have the opportunity to select those who represent YOUR best interests.
Some Key Dates to Remember:
Nominations open at 09:00 on Monday 23 September and close at 13:00 on Tuesday 08 October.
Voting opens at 09:00 on Wednesday the 09 October and closes at 16:00 on Friday 11 October.
